Great stop on our way through Vancouver. Based on recommendations from this app (thanks folks!), we stopped here at the end of a trip and on our way to the airport. I went with my two kids (age 13 w celiac, and age 11 without celiac) and my dad. We ordered a plain cheese pizza, a My Forno chicken pizza and a Hawaiian, all gluten free. They were all terrific! The owner assured us that all GF pizzas are prepared separately. My son isn’t symptomatic so we can’t report on how he reacted. Other than to say he found it very tasty ;-)
Small location with only a few seats indoors and outdoors. It was warm in the restaurant and we sat outside at the two small tables (each fits two people). It was a lovely place to sit.
Called and the person said that gluten free options are made in a completely different area with different utensils etc. Ill have to try it out.
Found this place on this app and have been eating here like, twice a week ever since. The owner recognizes us now … It’s delicious! They are very safe and knowledgeable and clearly pride themselves on safely serving those who are celiac. Obviously it has real pizza too but I’ve never been remotely sick - on top of that, I’ve never even felt gross from the dairy. I think they are very good at valentine their flavours. The gluten free crust is quite good. I have had better (nowhere in Vancouver though). They also usually write “gf” on the box (along with what type of pizza it is) - I’ve noticed when it’s extremely slow they don’t always bother. Not that they would need to, but it may throw some folks off. Also you can visually clearly see a difference with the regular crust. Also it isn’t really a sit down restaurant. There is space, but it’s clearly meant to be more of a take out pizza joint.
Felt super safe eating here and felt fine after. Not too thrilled about the crust, it was thin and crunchy, sorta cracker-like. I had plain cheese and an Italian pesto type pizza. I would most likely not eat here again, not because it isn’t safe (it totally is) but there are better gf gluten free options (social corner). I will say it does have a lower price point than social corner.
THIS WAS THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA I’VE HAD IN 14 years! I’ve had celiacs for 14 yrs and pizza is my favourite treat meal. The photos on their website currently do not do the pizza justice! Crunchy crust, fresh ingredients and tastes like traditional pizza. I believe the owner is Italian after all! GF Pizza is made in a separate facility but I’m not sure if there’s a separate gf station. Could ask! 10/10. Take all my money.
My two pizzas were so delicious! I was informed that the GF pizzas are prepared on a completely separate counter which was cleaned beforehand because I indicated that I was Celiac when I placed my online order. The GF crusts while not doughy and fluffy like some Gluten'y crusts that I still miss, were still very yummy (they were more like a crispy thin crust but wasn't soggy and held up under the toppings). The toppings used were nice and fresh and made for tasty pizzas. Highly recommend this place; I will definitely go back!
AMAZING Gluten Free pizza place, so many options, I can’t believed i didn’t about this place any sooner. They take celiac and cross contamination very seriously. They offer take out and very reasonable pricing
