My Vegan Sweet Tooth

While visiting the VA.Beach area I was excited to find and try the gluten free items at this shop. We drove over from the beach to find the gf selection was limited. I purchased a loaf of apple bread and a protein bar. I am disappointed in both, they are very dry! Maybe it was an off day. ✨ However, they did have a dedicated space for GF items.✨

Cute place! The gluten free options include the usual cupcakes, cookies, brownies, but also ice cream sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. The ice cream sandwich was amazing, and the cinnamon roll was pretty good. It’ll hit the spot on a vacation for sure.

Absolutely amazing, vegan or not this is top tier gluten free goodies. AMAZING. :) Highly, highly recommend. And lovely staff and feel. I did not get contaminated at all.

Was so happy to find a gluten-free bakery with many options. The cannoli I had was amazing!

I absolutely love this place. Any time I am anywhere close to the location I have to stop. They have the best chocolate chip cookies. My favorite is their oversized cookie sandwich with icing in the middle. For someone who is not only gluten free but also lactose intolerant this bakery is perfect and delicious. They have a whole half of their bakery display dedicated for gluten free items with a huge variety.

Delicious, deliciousness ,if you have celiac and intolerant of eggs & dairy. You will experience the deliciousness of baked goods as you remember, but without the pain. I ordered the chocolate-chocolate icing cupcake, the yummy bar, & a peanut butter cookie. Just the right amount of sweet without losing the flavor of treat.

I got a gluten free custom birthday cake from here. I am not vegan, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with a vegan GF cake. The cake was chocolate and vanilla. Both flavors were very dense, but dense isn’t necessarily a negative thing. The chocolate tasted great. I did not love the flavor of the vanilla layer. The chocolate frosting was nice and light. The cake was decorated beautifully! The 8 inch, two-tier cake cost about $50 ($10 up-charge for gluten free). I also ordered the GF vegan sandwich bread loaf and wasn’t a fan - it fell apart and the texture was off for me - but it’s probably a great option for someone who eats vegan!

Holy cow - this place is amazing! Super impressed with the gluten free options. Prior to my Celiac dx, I was super critical of all thing vegan but, I will gladly eat my words on this one. The GF items are kept in a totally separate case and the number of options made it hard to pick. I had a slice of the lemon coconut cake and can’t stop thinking about it. We’re going back for more later today. It’s that good!

Some of the best gluten free baked options around. Love their whoopie pies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and peanut butter cookies. All gluten free items are in a separate case. Kitchen is shared space with gluten products, but no contamination challenges in multiple visits!

Chose this place after checking out the app. I liked the idea of safe snacks. I got a whoopie pie and blueberry parfait. Both were gluten free. I did not have a reaction. The parfait was good. The whoopie pie was huge!!! Definitely for more than 1 person. The whoopie looked good but was very dry and crumbly. The filling was good but you could not really eat the rest. I had to throw it out.

This is an actual storefront bakery right in Virginia Blvd. There is 1 case full of GF options. I spoke to the owner about preparation and she stated that she prepares all GF baked goods in a separate area of her shop using separate mixers and pans.

There are many options. I chose a slice of the fatty cake. It was a layer of vanilla cake, peanut butter filling and then chocolate cake on top. Very good. I look forward to stopping by this nice bakery more in the future!

Fantastic vegan and gluten free baked goods. She is careful to avoid cross contamination. A store front is about to open, and I heard that she's going to have a separate kitchen for the gf food. Either way, I've never had any problems.
