Wow! We had a FANTASTIC experience at this little strip mall restaurant. They have tamari (gf soy sauce) AND gf eel sauce! My daughter was able to eat unagi for the first time since her diagnosis. The server was super knowledgeable and willing to check and double-check everything, and talked to the kitchen about food prep/ cross-contamination.
We had an eel & avocado roll, the Christmas roll, and steak hibachi with vegetable and white rice. The salad dressing and soups were not safe, so I ate that portion of her meal. 😄 The food was really good, and the prices and portions were reasonable. The service was perfection!

Just had a delicious lunch of sushi here. The menu is not marked gluten free but the waiter was very knowledgeable on what sushi I could eat. Basically, the ponzu, eel and spicy sauce have gluten. The salad dressing and miso soup have gluten. But the Japanese Onion Soup is GF when they don't add the tempura fried onions. They have GF soy sauce (yay)! We ordered the dish of 10 piece sashimi (amazing!), 10 piece nigiri, and a yellowtail with scallion roll. The fish was super fresh. I asked them to change their gloves before making ours, which they had no problem doing. My husband also had a California roll and the waitress made a point to tell me that it has gluten in it (which I know, but appreciate). The receipt had Gluten Allergy in big bold letters. If you just want sushi, this place is great!
