Fine for my 3 celiacs! We have the chips & the chickens and the little tenders, haven’t had a problem
Yes
While they only make unseasoned French fries (chips) in their deep frier, and the chips were gluten-free per NIMA testing, their rotisserie chicken failed NIMA testing and had gluten on it. It is not safe to eat here if you have coeliac disease.
No
Nando's in general is typically very celiac friendly, however experience with this location was less than stellar. Due to Covid and no in-store dining, delivery order was placed which specified celiac/gluten allergy in notes and requested gloves changed, no garlic bread, and utensils. Bag of garlic bread was on top of the order and no utensils were included, making me skeptical on whether or not the notes were even read.

Nandos is my go to for safe food. They have a dedicated fryer for fries (just avoid the peri salt since theres a risk of cc at the factory). They will change their gloves and handle your order carefully. There is a list online of what things on the menu are gf. Be careful with the self serve table sauces as some are gf and some arent (check the website). Ive never had a problem here and go quite often.

Staff were very helpful in helping me find gluten free options. Allergen information on the menu on their website. Dedicated fryer for French fries

Nando’s has a bunch of naturally gf options, they don’t advertise it or even put it on the menu, but I’ve always found the staff to be very knowledgeable about it.

Order from here regularly and gluten free options are clearly marked. Never had an issue. Staff are knowledgeable and also double check the allergy list for me.
