I called ahead and spoke with someone who told me there was a dedicated person each night who’s job it was to oversee meals being prepared for anyone with allergies. That made me feel really good right off the bat which is great because I NEVER eat out and wouldn’t have gone if I didn’t have a pretty good comfort level. When I say I never eat out, I mean since my diagnosis almost two years ago this was the second time eating out at a non dedicated gluten free restaurant. Our server, Will, was amazing from the get go when I told him I had celiac and a corn sensitivity. He was more than willing to check everything in the back and come back to tell me what would be safe. I had the striped bass with cauliflower purée, tri color cauliflower, asparagus and chimichurri. It was AMAZING. It is marked as gf on the menu but Will confirmed there was no corn for me and that they would take extra precautions with prep. For dessert there was something I wanted but he was honest and said there might be something that could be corn derived - maybe gelato or something? It was gf but possibly has an ingredient with corn so I appreciated his honesty and instead he helped me choose something like key lime pie in a jar where they put the “crust” or crumbles on top and he said they could just leave that off. I didn’t have any back pain that night or the next day which is my weird tell-tale sign of being “glutened” or “corned” (lol) so I felt pretty great about the whole experience. It was so nice to feel relatively normal for a night and spend time with friends. I really miss doing that and I’m grateful to the Tap Room for being so accommodating. We will definitely go back next summer probably multiple times. Since I can’t eat out in general it’s worth it to me to spend the money on a place like this where they are used to catering to “high maintenance” clientele. I use that term jokingly bc celiacs are obviously not trying to be high maintenance but…. We obviously are, no fault of our own. I highly recommend this restaurant and specifically want to give a shout out to Will. He even took great photos for us outside after our meal.

There were no gluten free options for our daughter (10). No gluten free bread, pasta, anything at all. Didn’t seem to be something they had ever thought about.

I had a great meal here. I had the risotto and it was so good! The waiter asked about allergies before we even placed the order. Upscale atmosphere but prices were not bad.

Most of the menu was gf or had gf options. Waitress was knowledgeable but make sure to double check before ordering anything because the menu isn’t labeled. I had the risotto that was wicked good.

The quality of the food was very good. There not many options and they needed to be reminded of cross contamination.
