Review of Near & Far Camden

I went in And had conversations with the staff after looking at the menu… what’s labeled expressly as “gluten free beer” is absolutely not, it’s “gluten removed”. To a celiac this is unsafe. The staff had no clue about the difference, and it’s evident the Owners dont care about that important detail, as the menu indicates none of this information . They should not be advertising items and their entire establishment as gluten free when it isn’t! and it was more like a hipster dive bar atmosphere than somewhere I’d feel safe eating… especially as the beef tacos which I was going to order, are marinated in the gluten-removed beer - NOT GLUTEN FREE-the guy had no idea what I was talking about, staff are NOT keyed into what’s totally gluten free and safe for a celiac. He even showed me all of the beer bottles- none were gluten free. Hard pass.
