Understands gluten intolerances and cross-contamination protocols! I split breakfast with the hubs. We got the GF blueberry pancakes (3 large pancakes with blueberry syrup), 2 eggs, sweet potato hash, and breakfast sausage. We had them bring out the wheat toast on a separate plate. They also brought us out additional plates so we could split without contamination worries (hubby's wheat toast). I also had a juice with added protein to make it more like a smoothie.
We would definitely come back again! They are open in the off-season.
Owner has experience with Celiac. They were wonderful with our order. Clean, friendly, comfortable. We will be going back!
GF Pancakes fluffy delish
Eggs Benny skipped English muffin subbed tomato and asparagus
GF bread for toast
Excellent food, employees, and atmosphere! Had delicious gluten free blueberry pancakes and turkey bacon. The chef personally talked to me about my gluten free meal. Staff is educated on Celiac. Will definitely go back every time we are in Delaware. The menu is phenomenal and everyone loved their food!
We had an absolutely excellent experience with breakfast there. The person in our party with celiac had the gf blueberry pancakes, hot tea and chocolate milk.
The gf blueberry pancakes were huge, fluffy and delicious. They also have gf bread to make breakfast or lunch sandwiches gf and there’s an extensive omelet menu.
They said they have a separate allergy prep area for their gf food and were very careful with cross contamination.
Wonderful place!
Yes yes yes! They have gluten-free bread that is fantastic! Many options that don’t include gluten or could be made GF. The decor is comfy and cute. Portions were huge and the fruit was fresh. We will definitely be back!
Excellent breakfast place! Server was well versed in gluten allergy/celiac, they have delicious gluten free bread, which he said would be toasted separately to avoid cross contamination (without my even asking!), as well as delicious gf muffins! Also, they have almond milk for coffee! Everything about this place ranks them a 5/5!!!
We had a difficult time finding a place to eat breakfast in Rehoboth or Dewey. We found this on Find me GF. Our family could not have been happier. We were here two days on a recent trip. Both days were busy but each time we had servers who were knowledgeable about Celiac. Our food was really good. The juices were great along with the pancakes. We will definitely come here again when we are back at the beach.
Lovely Sunday brunch stop for us. Home made juices were fabulous, most of the items on the menu can be made GF if they are not already. Server was very knowledgeable and engaged with us, even describing the GF dessert options available - we had the carrot cake, and you would have no idea it was GF. GF pancakes were large and tasty with a homemade blueberry compote syrup. WE LOVED IT!
Though not every item listed as gluten free on the menu is safe from cross contamination, if you tell the staff you have celiac disease and need to avoid cross contamination, they are very knowledgeable about what can and cannot be prepared safely. For example, they know to prepare their gluten free bread in a separate toaster that isn’t used for regular bread and take both celiac disease and all food allergies very seriously. The food is also very tasty and the service and vibe are great.
Gluten free muffins were soooo good I spent the day worried it wasn't actually gluten free (it was just tasted suspiciously delicious for gluten free). Also juices are safe (they are made fresh, and staff told me that what you see is what you get as far as ingredients). Gluten free pancakes, scones and gf bread available for sandwiches). The "regular" menu was a hit with the rest of my family too. Updated to add the sweet potato hash and Spanish omelette with Agave salsa are great! Ordered this a few times and just specify it’s gluten free for their gf toast. They seem to take great care, food is always good and I feel safe eating here.
Food was great and tons of options for my daughter. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wait time was long though.
Best GF pancakes. Entire menu is made with high quality ingredients. Blueberry syrup seems to have a maple base. The GF pancakes were crispy, yet thick and fluffy; a difficult mark to hit. Fresh squeezed OJ. Health Juices as good as we've had. Also recommend the non-GF Breakfast Sandwich on whole wheat croissant. Coffee is good too. :)
We started looking forward to this experience before we even hit town! My daughter and I needed GF. She ordered the GF Monte Cristo. When it arrived, it was beautiful! Unfortunately, that beautiful sandwich was NOT GF. I had to keep my 14 year old from tearing up at the table. Seem silly? It's been 5 years since she's had a Monte Cristo, and it was her favorite.
I ordered the breakfast sandwich. Within minutes of leaving the restaurant, I'm looking for a restroom in this quaint little tourist town . . . I'm trying to make it to the hotel so we can get on the road. Not going to be a good day on the road.
Seems pricey at first but the quality of ingredients makes eating here seem like a good value or at the least, a healthy indulgence. The type of place I could imagine going to everyday, if not for a meal than for a GF baked good or smoothie to go.
Wonderful raspberry muffin! And quinoa salad! That's all I had when I was there but they offer more, like blueberry pancakes and sandwiches with gfree bread. Also, juices are gfree! Yet to try the chocolate avacado torte that's gfree. The place is new and so cute and cool inside! Can order at the counter or have breakfast or lunch at sit down area in the back (with waiter).
