I got glutened here. Partially my fault and a bad menu. The menu has only a few items marked so I asked if everything else was gf. The waiter told me it was but he would double check. We ordered something and we didn't check if it was gf when we ordered or when he brought it. Then after I took a bite he came back and told us there was some gluten in it according to chef. I guess it's a lesson to always double check when ordering and getting food. The menu here is also really unclear based on my experience.

This place has excellent food, drinks and service. The menu states clearly what has gluten in it. There are plenty of gluten free options. Tasty, simple Vietnamese food with very fresh ingredients

Excellent food and service (the coffee was pretty ho-hum..). When I told the waiter I was coeliac, he took it very seriously and confirmed with the chef that my meal would be prepared accordingly.
The only glitch was a GF dessert (a stunningly good espresso panacotta) came with a new addition; a sort of tuille. When I questioned it, the waiter's face dropped and he quickly advised (apologising profusely) that it did indeed contain wheat flour. The dish was removed and replaced with another.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the staff knowledge and the food; it just goes to show that you need to be on your guard, though.
