Neighborhood Sports Bar and Kitchen

Extremely intolerant and rude. If you have an autoimmune disease, food allergy or sensitivity beware their personnel are extremely rude and will quite literally make fun of you. I have never been discriminated against because of my auto immune disease like I was at the neighborhood. I asked if the brussel sprouts were gluten free since they don’t specify on their menu. I was spoken to in a demeaning tone and the answer went something like this “god didn’t make them that way” and after I shook my head at the extremely rude answer and said I will not be eating them, he said “how could they be vegan if the brussel sprouts have little baby brussel sprouts.” Not only was this person conflating gluten with vegan and completely incorrect, but he was mocking the idea that someone might need (or want) to eat a certain way. I will never go back to this establishment and I caution anyone from supporting a business that allows their staff to overtly discriminate against certain customers.
