Came here for dinner before a show. Very good service. Food came out fast. Limited GF options. We had the fried catfish coated in cornmeal. It was delicious. The fries were very run of the mill, and we were told they’re done in separate fryer. Also, a roasted chicken, corn dish. The chicken was dry, but, the corn was very good. Server was GF aware and assured us they take care. No reactions.
I had lunch here today & went specifically for the pimento cheese fries. I read conflicting reports about the fryer being dedicated and when I asked, they said they try their best to keep it dedicated but sometimes at night or when they are busy on the weekend for brunch, chefs mess up & they use it for everything. I went on a weekday early when they just opened so they told me it was clean. I chanced it & did not get sick, but to be honest, I was disappointed. Not work the walk down to MGM or the $20 I paid for it. It was just plain fries with a cheese sauce on it & pico on top. The restaurant itself was kind of disappointing also. I would not recommend or come back.
Had breakfast and had no issues. I made the waiter aware I was GF Celiac and double checked the menu items marked. No dedicated fryer for the pimento cheese fries so be aware! I had the Grits bowl with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese. Not excellent but good for what it was. My husband NOT Celiac had the shrimp and grits and he said it was good! Pricey for breakfast but that’s Vegas!
My server was gluten free, but not much else was. They do not have buns and the fryer is not a dedicated fryer. Pretty disappointing. It is a nice space, though!
They normally have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items, but the waiter was good enough to inform me that one of the kitchen staff accidentally used it to fry gluten containing items and therefore it was unsafe. That meant that any of the fried items on the menu were not safe. It was disappointing that I couldn't enjoy the catfish but I am so glad that the waiter cared enough to check.
First time at the restaurant. Really impressed. First I liked the fact that the tables are NOT squished right next to one another. But there's open space so you can hear your companions talk. The restaurant is huge with lots of little and big areas. Plus that BIG screen TV was fun to have on especially with a football game on.
The menu clearly lists what is GF and the kitchen was careful with mine. I had the grilled shrimp which was so flavorful along with the coleslaw. Definitely will return as there are other options I'd like to try.
A bit high priced on some items, but not for the Vegas Strip I guess. Definitely will return.
We shared a cheese fries and I had a cajun chicken gluten free. I thought both were very good. I tested the cajun chicken with my Nima and it tested safe. I asked and was told they have a dedicated fryer for the fries. The only negative is the limited gluten free options on the menu.
I went in June days after the location opened and at the time they didn’t even have the proper menus printed but I was able to see my options on my phone. Luckily for me they also had just received their shipment of gluten free buns so I was able to get a gluten free chicken sandwich! It was my first Vegas trip after my diagnosis and I was extremely nervous and and this location had just opened so I’m glad we both had a positive experience.
