Review of Neno's Mexican Food

Authentic Mexican food and it was SO GOOD.

About half of the menu is GF and clearly labeled. I asked if the chips are made of corn and she said yes but they’re in a shared fryer. Bummer but I’m glad she was aware! She also made a note on my order that I have an allergy, and she mentioned that they use clean utensils!

I got the carnitas street tacos and WOW- best Mexican I’ve had in Rochester. We will definitely be back.

Note that this location is inside Star Cider, and there are no signs outside indicating that Neno’s is inside. So we were a bit confused at first, but glad we went in anyway because they have drinks (beer, cocktails, and cider- I know their cider is GF but not sure about the others), as well as an outdoor covered patio and they happened to have live music. It looked like they had lawn games as well but I’m assuming they were put up due to the weather.
