Neptune Oyster

Easily the best oysters I have ever eaten! Full disclosure, I came to this restaurant solely for oysters and wine, thus cannot speak on the other menu items. However, the staff was very aware and knowledgeable about the kitchen and products. They were able to inform me about the ingredients of the sauces which accompany the oysters and the state of the kitchen. If you love oysters, come here!!

Neptune is an exceptional restaurant. I have eaten there many times over the years. I ate there pre-celiac diagnosis 10+ years ago…. All that to say, I’m much more sensitive to trace amounts of gluten now. Ate there today and was told all of my food was GF: oysters, grilled octopus, crab salad, all seemed safe, but, I didn’t feel great after and definitely got some gluten in me. It is a very small kitchen so I imagine I just got a bit. If you’re super sensitive I might pass - or just make sure to let your server know (I wasn’t very explicit, just asked if it was GF). I will probably go back again and be more clear because the food is incredible.

Delicious selection of Oysters! We love it here!

This place is pretty naturally gluten free. Only place I wasn't upset that I didn't get bread with my lobster roll, cause it was so good! I stayed away from the fries as they don't have a dedicated fryer.
