They used to have a gluten-free menu that was great. I had their orange chicken and felt perfect afterwards - I was so happy to have found them! They have since removed this menu and now I find it very difficult to order with them - 1) the choices are radically limited now, and 2) it's difficult to do the ordering (particularly if you are not in the restaurant), and 3) even if you get something safe, it's not that tasty.

Although they have. Gluten free section on the menu, I don’t feel confident that some of the items, like the general gao is truly GF. I always end up sick the next day after I eat here. It’s very good, but not confident that what is labeled gluten free actually is.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered take-out over the internet and specified that the order for sushi is for someone with celiac and must be gluten free. The order came with gluten containing gluten and a roll with crab stick. when I called about this they were unhelpful. They insisted that all the rolls were ok as was everything else. Once pressed they admitted that the salad and miso soup might not be gluten free. I couldn't eat 60% of what I ordered. Don't go here. They don't understand gluten free.

Delicious, however the food I ate made me sick. I ordered a GF General Gao's Chicken and a friend ordered regular General Gao's..when the order arrived we could not tell the difference between the two. We called and they said the one without the hot pepper garnish was GF, but the food still made me sick (I have celiac). Perhaps ask them to label GF items

Staff was extremely knowledgeable. They have gluten free soy sauce upon request. I ordered some things I thought were gf and the server came back to suggest other items after talking to the kitchen. They took the allergy seriously.
