New Orchid Garden Restaurant

I rang us to ask what dishes they do GF. They said can do chicken fried rice but there is a chance of cross contamination. Have to let you know if the risk. To me, they shouldn’t be on here if there is a risk cos that just covers their own back!

Awful experience. Staff are extremely rude. We rang ahead to ask if there would be gf options and were told yes, but when asking on arrival I was told ‘there’s 500 dishes on the menu, I’m not going through it all so just tell me what you want and I’ll see if it’s gluten free. And you can’t have any starters’, although the sign on the bar clearly states to inform them of allergies and intolerances. I had to wait for my family to finish their starters before I could eat anything and was not offered an allergen folder regardless of the sign on the bar. Avoid!
