Found this little gem - a locals favourite and a down to earth, wholesome and friendly gastro bar. Not dedicated GF but onowledgeable server, clear explanation of GF options and up front about shared fryer and cross contamination risk. I had possibly the best burger in GF bun Inhave ever tasted. Black and Blue burger and chips - replaced onion strings with caramelised onions and it was terrific. Huge, tasty and GF. Absolutely no issues with the food, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and great value too.

I was told three different things between calling on the phone when I called and then when I arrived. There is no dedicated fryer and the staff said they couldn’t guarantee there would be a changing of gloves or anything to prevent cross contamination. Judging by the other reviews I think it really depends on the staff you have. I ended up just leaving and not eating here because my confidence level was so low that I wouldn’t get sick.

I was a little worried to eat here because of some of the negative comments, but I was not disappointed. Waitress was knowledgeable and confidently accommodating. I had the apple chicken burger on a gf bun and it was great! It was pretty crowded, so if you’re coming in a weekend night, make a reservation.

They have GF buns and corn tortilla, however shared grill and fryer. I had the tacos and didn't get sick, but I took a big chance.

Staff understood about cross contamination and the waitress mentioned them changing gloves and have food cooked in a clean pan. No dedicated fryer for fries, but did offer gluten free buns.

Amazing food! Gluten free bun for burgers was not advertised on the menu but made my day. They do not have a 'dedicated' fryer but i was told they try to fry breaded things in one fryer and everything else the other but can't guarantee it.

Very informed staff! I only had the hummus plate because we were just there for apps and drinks, but it was delicious! Best hummus plate I've ever had. When asking celiac specific questions our server was fantastic! They have bottled cider and a dedicated cider tap line. Also, I recommend the mule kick drink, so delicious! As a celiac that is very sensitive, I would highly recommend this place!

Surprisingly aware of the concern/risk for Celiacs despite the menu simply listing "We work with any known allergens in our kitchen. " When I asked if the taco shells were GF, I got the full run down on which ingredients were/were not GF on the menu and accommodations they can make. They even knew prep issues that made some items unsafe. Very impressed. The tiger chicken tacos (with modifications) were flavorful and filling. I didn't walk away feeling like I walked away paying more money for less food. 4 tacos/$12 and I had to take leftovers. I am looking forward to my next trip through town.
