Symptomatic Celiac

Went here today and showed my celiac card. The waiter said there were no options and indicated a few of the wheat/barley ingredients on my card that were in the food. I was not able to eat here and was pretty bummed about it.

Good gluten free Vietnamese noodles! I showed the waiter my coeliac gluten free card and they bought me an allergen menu that listed which items contained wheat (nothing for barley, oats, and rye unfortunately). I had a vermicelli bowl with fried spring rolls (very clearly rice paper, not pastry) and veg, it was obvious the dish didn't contain gluten. I couldn't see anything on the menu that contained wheat and was fried.
