I called Nick’s pizza ahead of time because I get there circular here in Ferndale. Their circular says that they have gluten-free pizza. I called and asked them what their procedure is to make sure there’s no cross-contamination and the person I spoke to mention that they make it in a different area they use different pizza cutters wash between each usage. When I called to order the pizza. I reiterated that my wife is a celiac, very sensitive and that I would really appreciate them making sure that they do everything possible to make sure that there would be no cross-contamination, the young man I spoke to on the line said at first I’ll make sure they clean the knife between cuts. Then he must’ve spoken to somebody and came back on and said oh, we use different pizza cutters and wash them between each use. I live in Ferndale so if Nick’s does a nice job, it would be a easy place to go to. Unlike most gluten-free pizzas right off, they said our gluten-free pizzas is a large, usually I hear from places they’re small, so that was kind of neat. We ordered a pizza. My wife had it and had absolutely no problem with it. Nick’s will be our go to pizza place in this area!!
