The fresh fish was delicious and the staff at the counter are very knowledgeable on the gluten free options. I would recommend this for celiac or gluten sensitivity.

They do have gluten free options but ask questions when you visit. I had the “shoyu” poke but they told me it contained no shoyu and was just seasame oil. I ate it and didn’t get sick, they had other gf poke options but double check and ask questions when you go.

The menu is marked with dishes that can be made gf - there aren’t that many options. I got the swordfish and it wasn’t great. Fish was overcooked and everything my plate was cold. Maybe I just ordered wrong! But I woke up the next day and my stomach did not feel great, so also a bad sign. But the gluten eaters loved their meals.

Wouldn’t recommend for celiac. They can do furikake ahi without furikake (they said it contained gluten) or a shrimp dish gluten free. I went for the ahi plain with white rice and a side salad. It was a little bland but not terrible. Unfortunately I got sick after, assuming from cross contamination.

The Furitake seared ahi was great! I had a side green salad and fries. They used a shared fryer but, I didn’t have any discomfort after eating.

The pesto shrimp was good and the server knew what was gluten free but there was not much of an options and the portions are small

They do not have a GF menu. The server knew what could be made GF, but I was hesitant since the server had no clue about cross contamination (he said the fries were GF, but after questioning, they are not - they do not use a dedicated fryer).
The poke can be made GF. I was cautious, but ate it and did not get sick.
Bottom line, several dishes can be made GF free. Just ask a few layers of questions and let them know that you have celiac disease and are sensitive to cross contamination. The fish is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful!

It was order at the counter and then wait for food. But speedy service. Food was pretty good. They didn’t have ahi that eat which is what I really wanted. When I approached the counter and said I have a severe gluten hypersensitivity he pulled out a binder! An amazing binder for every allergen. It had the dishes that could be ordered gf and exactly how to order the modifications. It was amazing. It took the pressure off the server to have it all memorized and it had it layer out for me why which things would be changed. Someone did their research and put it into the binder and I wish everyone could hand me something like that!

There was nothing they could offer that was GF except a salad. I didn't eat here.

I asked what was gluten free on the menu and she only offered one of the fish dishes. I hate fish. So I asked if the grilled chicken pesto salad without the croutons would be ok. She said without the croutons and the dressing it would be. She suggested having extra pesto on the salad. It was tasty, but not filling as it it was salad, some chicken and lots of pesto.

Not as many GF options as you'd think for a fresh fish place this week. Only two options for me: swordfish or ahi tuna. I'm currently pregnant, so neither worked for me. Ended up with garlic shrimp, side salad, and mashed potatoes, all underwhelming for $30. Hubs got the catch of the day over noodles, said it was good.
Fish is fresh! I was hopeful since they do have gf options, unfortunately I had a reaction.

got the Poke at fish market downstairs, it was amazingly fresh and as long as I skipped the soy sauce almost everything was GF
only one or 2 options that *could* be GF... it's counter order and very busy so not conducive to asking questions.

Small selection of gluten free dishes. The fish is excellent, fresh caught. Nico's is on the pier so I believe they are buying from the fishers each day. Prices are good for fish about $18-$22 for dinner.
