I’ve ordered tacos here 5+ times and never gotten sick. Great service!

my experience was really good and my waiter was really helpful! the chips are in a shared fryer but he brought me out a bag of potato chips to dip in the quac, the quac was so good i really didn’t mind! i got the chipotle shrimp tacos on a corn tortilla and had no reaction and i’m very sensitive!

I went to the Nico’s on Como. I made the big mistake of not saying specifically that I had celiac at the beginning. I inquired about if the chips were corn, and she said yes. When I ordered my tacos, I then mentioned I had celiac and asked that she let the chefs know, which she said she would. But then a few minutes later, she came back to the table and apologized that she hadn’t realized I had celiac and said that the original chips were fried in a shared fryer. She had a new basket of chips that she said were celiac safe. At that point I had already eaten the first chips. This was my fault and not hers, but just know you need to ask for special chips. The food was otherwise good. I don’t have severe reactions from being glutened, and felt okay the next day.

The food was decent, and did have a few gf options. Unfortunately had a horrible time with the waitress. After the food was served, the waitress didn’t check in on us for over a 1/2 hour and when she did come to check in, she told us that she forgot about us... Decent food, but not worth it with the crummy staff.
Tacos (w/Corn tortillas) and Enchiladas with 7 different options for insides. The Tamales are the best that I have eaten since my Grandma Bea made them when I was a kid! The Tocino Guac is glorious with real bacon on top! For GF no chips but we get fresh cut veggies to scoop. One of my favorite spots for a snack, dinner, lunch and of corse the Tequila!!!
