Wonderful experience! Loved the food. Super casual vibe. Staff was very knowledgeable about celiac. Only one thing on the menu has wheat. Felt great after eating here. A must try, so good!

Absolutely wonderful - I had to get both vegan and gf and the staff was super helpful. Almost the entire menu is gf with a few exceptions. Highly recommend

They make their bread with 100% Teff grain. Amazing food, awesome people. Great vegan & vegetarian options also. One of my favorite restaurants. Bread & leftovers are great the next day heated in a toaster oven.

Almost everything is GF. The item that contains gluten is specifically marked as “not-GF”. Ordered Nile Salad, Ayib Tikel (if you eat dairy, you have to try these “spicy morsels of joy”!), a large meat combo with several veggies (inguday were my favorite) and Siga Tibs. The meat combo is a good idea because it has Siga Wat, an intensely-spiced stew that will make flavor-lovers do a happy dance. Dining in is definitely better than carry out, but carry out is still a good option and the staff does their best to make it as good as possible for carry-out.

So good!! I’m dairy free as well as gluten free and they double checked everything and made sure that I was consuming items that were safe. I had the lamb tibs and it was so flavorful and tender. I will definitely be back!
