So the food and ambiance was wonderful (esp. the margaritas). Homemade tortilla and chips, yummy warm red salsa and a green one too. They have a gluten friendly menu online with a decent variety of options. Safety wise, double check what you get. I’m sensitive so it’s not a major thing for me (although I really want to avoid G of course) but I ordered a marked GF meal, made the recommended adjustments, it was marked correctly on the receipt, but they didn’t bring it out correctly. I’d ordered the refried beans and corn tortillas but got the charro beans and flour ones, and got sour cream despite asking to be left off. The server quickly got me the other beans and tortillas but if you’re celiac it’s probably not a safe space for you.

They are not celiac safe. They can handle gluten intolerance but cross contamination is to be expected.

This place is delicious. They have little labels on their menus that identify the gluten free options. I have the chicken flautas on a corn tortilla and it was amazing!!!!! Their Margaritas are delicious too. Also ask your server about some dishes that aren’t gluten free to exchange the flour for corn tortillas. Very very good:). From a recently diagnosed celiac

Their website has a gluten free menu which is mostly items that have the ground beef or carnitas. I asked the waiter about the chips and he went and asked the kitchen. They are technically gluten free, but fried in the same fryer with everything else. The refried beans are not safe. There are some reviews on other websites that said they have separate gluten free chips, but they don't as of today. I started having stomach cramps before we left the restaurant. Update: I live in the Austin area and came to Waco to visit the zoo. We are dinner and drive the hour and a half home. My the time we got home, I was doubled over with bad stomach cramps and others symptoms I won't get into. DO NOT EAT HERE!

The gluten free menu included about 6 items. I explained to the server that I had celiac and luckily he at least had personal knowledge. I ordered one of the items listed. It would have come out with flour tortillas, but my server knew to substitute (this was not mentioned on the gf menu). Also, the beans that came with out with the dish, he took and informed me that they also had gluten after they arrived. And, guacamole was served In A flour shell. Overall, not safe or accommodating for gluten free.
They have a small gluten free menu, I've never had a problem just have to be aware of cross contamination possibility.
Asked hoastest if they had a gf menu . she said no but you can sub anything with a flour tortilla with corn (no big deal ok) I then had the manager lecture me about what gf is ( I have needed a gf diet for allergies for over 10 years ) then I ended up getting a salad no dressing (i guess it ALL had gluten ) with grilled chicken that tasted so dry and bland .
No
I called and was told they do not have anything gluten free.
