Japan pro tip, this place is insanely good. A little hard to find on Google maps, but I posted a picture of the card of the restaurant address and Chef, who’s son happens to be celiac. Call ahead, he said you can request him. I would also request a private room/table for 4-6 people to minimize any chance of cross contamination. They didn’t use any soy sauce in any of the dishes other than the daikon, which mine just didn’t have soy sauce since we told them I was GF. The chef also suggested avoiding wasabi which is the biggest cross contamination risk. Even the fried rice is made without shoyu, so no real concerns. It was an amazing meal, we had teppenyaki veggies, steak, fried rice, lobster, clam soup, salad, abalone, so so good. Highly recommended.
