Review of Nippori

My niece and I stopped in after the theater production we saw in a recent trip to NYC. The staff was friendly and the menu has a variety of Japanese food, including sushi, edamame, ramen and more. Because my niece has Celiac disease and I have a gluten intolerance, we were happy they had gluten-free soy sauce. There wasn’t a lot to choose from for gluten-free options, as most of the specialty rolls and rice dishes had deep fried elements or contained imitation crab and most noodle dishes contained gluten. We had edamame, bacon wrapped asparagus and two sushi rolls. While we would have liked a gluten-free menu or more options, what we had was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and helpful.
