My gluten-free angel’s name was Natty.
As a server, she was kind, patient, and just a lovely person all around.
And, as others have said, the menu for gluten-free items is clearly marked .
They can make the Japanese fried rice gluten-free… But heads up … what that means is, they don’t put any soy sauce when they make it .
The options were clearly marked, but our waitress was not well knowledgeable on gluten free. I mentioned multiple times I had celiac and needed gluten free, yet they brought my sushi out on the same plate as a sushi that had gluten in it. The food was eh. Wouldn't come back.
So, so good! Lots of tasty options to accommodate our group with a variety of dietary restrictions, including a Celiac and a vegetarian. Food was fresh and delicious and staff were kind and knowledgeable. Location is great, and we had no trouble getting a table. It’s a big, open restaurant, which we were more comfortable in given the pandemic.
Very cute sushi place near Grant Park. There are several options for gf on their menu. I opted for a salad with ginger dressing and a specialty roll (Mango Tango). Server brought out tamari since I indicated I was gf. Both the salad and the roll were really fresh and filling.
