I went there after reading great reviews on this app for GF items and a knowledgeable staff. I was not met with the same outcome. Our server was sassy and irritated that I even ask about GF options. Saying “I have no idea” and standing there like I’d be ok with that answer. When I asked if they would ask the cook, they were completely bugged at the request and came back with a “yep”. As if that answered anything I had asked. I ended up getting hash browns and scrambled eggs.. safe enough at most places. It was food.. Nothing great. I’ll give it another shot, hoping to receive the great service I’ve been reading about.

As a celiac that has bypassed this diner many times, I decided to give this place a try. I had a mushroom, beef, and avocado omelette with grits and butter and tomato slices. Wasn’t raised eating grits but learned to eat them in the army. These are great grits and I am picky.

No separate gf menus, but very careful and knowledgeable about cooking for celiacs. Without being asked, the cook came out to tell me how he’d prepare my meal so it was safe. Fun atmosphere with 1950s style booths and Coca Cola decor. I would go here again in a heartbeat!

Waiter was very accommodating and knew about gluten containing foods. They had a phenomenal special of crab legs for $8.99 which I absolutely loved! Great retro atmosphere nice staff! Highly recommended!
I wish they had gf bread for sandwiches or buns for burgers but I got the grilled chicken and avocado salad that was pretty good. Also got a side of tots and ranch. The only other options were omelets and hashbrowns, which I'm sure would have been amazing since my family raved about their food.
Do not have a gluten-free menu, but staff very knowledgeable about gluten and will deliver a gluten free meal to you upon request. I am severely Celiac and I eat here all the time without any problems.
