Our server was very knowledgeable about Celiac and CC. Steared me away from anything fried and the pizza due to shared prep space. GF pasta is available, and prepped differently. I.e. made to order, whereas glutenous pasta is par-boiled beforehand.
Had the spaghetti and meatballs with the GF impossible meatball. Loved it. Would go back.
Other GF options were available and marked on the menu.
I am a GF vegetarian and this place never disappoints! I love their Bianca Pizza and get the meatball appetizer with Impossible meatballs.
I’ve been here about 5 times now when I come to visit my friends and I’ve never gotten sick. I’m a very sensitive celiac. I called the manager to ask questions and he said they do try very hard to prevent CC even though there’s always the risk since it’s an Italian restaurant. I get the pear burrata pizza and the GF crust is good! Highly recommend!
We loved our food, but my poor husband got so gluten’d :( please don’t do the gf pizza or pasta
They have gluten free items marked on the menu BUT they do not have a dedicated fryer. They take precautions on pizza if you mention Gluten allergy,Allergy, but they didn't have listed the GF toppings. Our waitress was very helpful. We were able to get pepperoni and sausage, but could not get meatballs.
The pizza was not cooked enough, so the crust was soft. It was still good, but would have been better with a bit of crisp.
We really enjoyed the ranch slaw.
GF marked menu with lots of options including GF fried calamari. I got the shrimp and grits and they also have GF pizza. Went with a group and had no issues. Great spot
They can make their pizzas GF! Thin crust. The pizzas are a little pricey and individual sized, but they're more unique than other pizza spots.
