A safe haven for breakfast, lunch and pastries in a very glutney town. We enjoyed cheese and veggie sandwiches and pastry. Food was ok (pastry a bit dry and lunch options limited). But it was safe and needed during our trip to Paris.
Scones were excellent. Baguette not great. Meal was just ok. No English menu and neither of the two women knew much English so I ordered a random meal. If this were the only safe place to eat in Paris (or I craved a scone) I'd go back. Otherwise no.
Our first stop in Paris after a long day of traveling. The service is excellent and the food was delicious! Our party ordered the gf burger and beer, veggie lasagna, and chicken and mushroom entree. All were rich and flavorful, but needed just a touch more of salt (which was provided in adorable cups with mini spoons). The only reason it is not a five-star is that there is no air conditioning and it became uncomfortably hot when more people joined us upstairs.
Food was delicious and safe. However, it didn’t feel like a “French” meal—more like unusually safe American food. It would be better for lunch than dinner. It was uncomfortable—the table was tiny (our two plates could barely fit! Think TV tray!) and was designed in such a way that your legs didn’t fit under. The chairs were also uncomfortable (and mine was missing part of the back). The food was good, but I’m not sure I would return for dinner.
This bakery cafe is incredible! The entire cafe is certified gluten free and staff was very knowledgeable. The pressed grilled vegetable and cheddar cheese sandwich was delicious, as was the banana bread. We are going back again before we leave Paris.
We were so excited to visit NoGlu (we love the one in NYC) and it did not disappoint. Best GF pastries anywhere and love having a completely GF lunch and dinner menu. Croque Monsieur is amazing, so is the burger and the duck.
Stopped for brunch. The food was food, but the lemon tart was absolutely amazing. The best I've ever tasted. The food is safe and the service was friendly.
The food was delicious. I got the burger the first time I came here and a vegetarian sandwich the second time. The vegetarian sandwich was so good that my fiancée cooked a replica as soon as we got back from our trip. I didn't get sick and would highly recommend eating here.
My daughter and I have to eat gluten AND dairy free. Several options for us. We did not eat a meal here, but rather bought baked goods to take on our trip to Zurich.
Cute, cozy neighborhood cafe. Lentil soup was great. Salads very fresh. Bread (on croque monsieur) was somewhat hard/crumbly. Friendly service.
Great food and freshly baked goods both gf and vegan. Multiple locations.
Really delicious sandwiches and pastries! Great lunch spot. Make sure to call and reserve a table before you go.
Few tables so make sure to be there in time in the evening or make a reservation. Everything on the menu is gluten free which is the best part! Main food was really tasty but the dessert was a disappointment, have tasted better.
The entire facility is gluten free so you don't even have to worry about cross contamination! The food was excellent and many options can be made dairy free as well if that's an issue for you, like it is for me. Even multiple desserts were dairy free. The menu changes daily and everything we tried was excellent, we are here twice while in Paris.
This restaurant is amazing. It is a dedicated gluten free café with multiple locations in Paris. Every option is delicious.
I went to the NYC location, and was so excited about all the delicious GF options! I got one of the lemon meringue tarts and was not disappointed! I also got some of the packaged goods and look forward to trying them too. Will definitely be back!
I ate the salmon on a roll my hubby ate the salmon, avocado toast. We also had a raspberry tartlet. All were so very tasty. The tartlet was so light. The service is good, knowing French will be very helpful.
It was just ok. I was excited to try gluten free French cuisine - but I was underwhelmed. I'm glad the place exists because I have celiac and avoiding cross contamination in France is a challenge, but of all the places I went, the waitstaff here were the least amicable. I had a reservation, I speak passable French, but the whole meal I had to really hustle to get what I needed and towards the end of our meal our waitress told us to hurry up and finish because another reservation was coming. (We hadn't even taken that long) Also bizarre to be asked to hurry in France where meals usually take up to 2 hrs!
It's mostly options you can find at other restaurants with gluten free menus - risotto, burgers, salad, potatoes, etc. the desserts weren't that good - I've had much better.
Fantastic and safe GF option in Paris. Note there are multiple locations in Paris so we ate at the 7th arrondissement location. Small but charming . Food was good but agree that the baked goods weren't as good as I'd hoped.
3 of us ordered different items on menu. Food, including main dishes and desserts, was bland. Service was good and staff was friendly.
We ate at the rue Saintonge location. Service was so-so, but the food was amazing! Beautifully prepared and uniquely delicious flavors. My celiac daughter had a falafel burger that was incredible, and we enjoyed a variety of appetizers. The only thing that wasn't fantastic, oddly, were the desserts, which were a bit dry and crumbly (had way better pastries at Cafe Mareva). Still, it is a very safe place for celiacs to eat, and for that I am very grateful!
A lot of breads, cakes, cookies. You can find so many choices and they're all really good ! If you're in Paris, it's probably one of the best place where to go. It's 100% gluten free. (you need to taste their hamburgers too)
Amazing food. Great service. Highly recommend
Their daily changing menu is good, but their bread is their best asset. Not exactly kid friendly due to the fancy dishes, but overall a good meal. I had lasagna, which was excellent.
Everything is good...! From staters to mains and deserts of course..!!! The take away place is also very Nice...
Fantastic totally gf menu. I had the smoked salmon sashimi and it was very good. The dessert menu is varied. The wine was good. But the best thing is that you meet other celiacs from all around the world. Lots of US citizens frequent the restaurant
So amazing!! Everything is gluten free but so delicious. Even my non gluten free family loved their meals. We had the quiche, duck, hamburger and fish noir. Everything was outstanding and it was great to finally find some gf bread and a not very gf city. Kind of hidden in a little alley way called passage panoramas. Great staff our server was celiac and translated the entire menu for us. Loved it!
Wonderful experience! We splurged on dinner and dessert. One of the best gf dinners ever!
Bon et bio, Noglu a vraiment bien évolué :-)
Great food and desserts.
Ate there tonight, July 6, 2016. Absolutely fabulous. Food was tasty, served promptly and the entire experience was great. Our sever translated the French menu for us. They were very liberal with the tap water that was nicely chilled. The burger buns were not dry like some gluten free bread products. The desserts were the best, especially the "torte au chocolate". Wonderful dinner!
Terrific (but small) dedicated GF place with friendly staff. A fried fish burger with potatoes and a salad was huge and delicious! Took a pastry back to the hotel for breakfast the next day and was even more impressed!
An oasis in an otherwise very GF scarce city. Both the restaurant and bakery across the passage were excellent. A different dinner menu each night - pizza, quiche, fish, chicken, etc. and great desserts. Even for my wife, a non-GF person, the meals were delicious. The bakery had baguettes, which was a treat. Highly recommend.
Wonderful. On a cute street. Good food, good service. Bakery across from the restaurant.
Great meal. The waitress was nice and efficient , the food was good and too expensive fir a gluten free meal. You also got the backery just across.
Everything is scrumptious. Great assortment. Recently added French toast to menu which I haven't had in years and was incredible. Very nice owners! Cute upstairs to eat in. Worth a visit- you will want to come back :)
Great restaurant in all options
It was Amazing! And no fear of cross contamination. We had the butternut squash soup, potato/Fish Mash, & Vegetable Lasagna. Absolutely spectacular. Service was very friendly, next door they have a bakery where you can order to take away as well as breads & Desserts.
Our first Celiac friendly stop in Paris. Exceeded our expectations for both quality of food and service in a uniquely Paris location. We'll be going back again during our stay.
Just had lunch here. What a wonderful little place. A little hard to find. Located in the Passage de Panorama. Had the pizza bolagnese with a salad. Wonderful. If you are celiac and must eat gluten free, don't miss this little slice of heaven.
"Oh my gosh this is so good!" Were the words out of my daughters mouth. Amazing shop w/ amazing breads, muffins, and madeleines.
I was overjoyed with the quality and value of the food here. Menu does change daily and they will do some substitutions. Really great!
Small cafe-like 'restaurant'. I thought it would be way bigger and busy. Reservations are probably necessary as there is limited seating available. Haddock salad starter I had was really nice (hence 3 stars). I ordered the roast lamb for the main dish and unfortunately 2/3 of it was just fat - massive waste of money for something I barely ate. I'd give the apricot tiramisu a miss as it's very small with not much flavour. A bit too expensive for what you get.
The final gluten-free restaurant is NoGlu, which was founded in 2012 by Frédérique Jules. Only two years later, and this glutenfree restaurant is already a huge hit for Parisians as well as tourists. Their menu changes daily, depending on the creativity of their chefs, but they strive to offer at least one dish of fish, meat and vegetarianfriendly food. They also serve delicious, gluten-free desserts: cookies, muffins, pies with seasonal fruit, meringues, cheesecakes, shortbreads and brownies.
absolutely delicious food. first place I have found in Paris to actually have gluten free food. would go back anytime I come to Paris. Thank you so much !!
Dedicated Gluten Free restaurant and Bakery. Sit-down and carry-out. American style cookies, muffins, cheesecake. Salads, sandwiches, and more. Chocolate chip cookies are THE BEST GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. You would never know they are gluten free. Everything I have had here is excellent. Staff are friendly and most speak English. I have been at least four times over the last year.
Completely gluten free menu. My boyfriend, a non celiac, ate the prosciutto which was macaroni layered with cheese sauce layered with prosciutto layered with melted cheese over the whole thing that was to die for. I had the chicken and white asparagus which was perfect. The rolls in the beginning amazing the bread during superb and the dessert I had a chocolate soufflé that could make you cry then I bought a chocolate chip muffin to go. One of the best gluten free meals I have ever had and in Paris ugh amazing.
