Nom Nom Restaurant and Grill

Called in during a slow time and asked someone about their gf options. They were very knowledgeable and made me feel confident in keeping food gf so I told them I'd be ordering from them in a few hours. When I went to make my order the restaurant was slow (so hopefully less rush and cc chance) but they completely ruined my order. When I spoke with them the second time they insured I would get a allergy warning on my order. The veggies for my pho had gluten hoisen packets in it and my noodles were contaminated as well. I also ordered salad rolls and the lettuce was brown and mushy. I called them and told them what happened (spoke to the same person as the second time I called) and they wanted to argue and I ended up paying over $20 for food I had to toss.

Nom Nom has some delicious entrees. I have ordered from them 7-8 times since moving to Vancouver and I haven’t been glutened once, that is until now. They have all of their Gluten Free items clearly marked (even on Grubhub). The last 2 times that I ordered from them I have been glutened from their “gluten-free” dishes. I love their crispy rice dish and homemade sausage (both marked as gluten-free), but I can’t eat it anymore without getting sick. This makes me think they’ve switched brands of rice vinegar and didn’t realize they are using one with Malt in it now. Unfortunately I have had to start looking for a new favorite restaurant.

Excellent gluten free options. Clearly marked. Laeb dish is incredible. Very tasty pho too.

This place was great! Not only is their food super tasty, but the staff was aware of other allergens and aware of cross contact. They were even able to make a dish gf that wasn’t marked on the menu. Very tasty! (As of right now, no dedicated fryer but plenty of other options)

Delicious food. Many items marked GF on the menu. Eaten here many times and have never been sick. Love eating here!

Food was great. However their wings are fried in the same fryer as gluten food. I forgot to ask and my son got very sick. Staff was interested in learning and changing things so check beck with them.

Great place! Most of their menu is gluten free and clearly labeled and the staff was super helpful in answering any of my questions. They have gluten free fried chicken wings with a sweet garlic sauce that was absolutely delicious. Plus I think their Pad Thai became my new favorite. I will definitely be back for more of their amazing food!
