They’re always very upfront and safe with my order. Express your concern about your allergy and if it’s busy, offer them the easy out “look, I understand you guys are really busy, it’s totally ok if you can’t promise no cross-contamination.” Obviously, if they say they can’t, just kindly leave or order a soup. I’ve never had an issue here and the staff is so kind
I ordered the "gluten free" Mac n cheese. When I got there the shells were a different kind of pasta. I refused to eat it and went back to the store. The gal insisted they were switching to a different pasta. I told her that makes me really uncomfortable to see an unfamiliar shape and not knowing if it's safe. The manager did call me, but was pretty rude about it. I've never seen them "change pastas" so I'm still convinced it was not safe. Haven't been back, I don't trust their training.
Have come here dozens of times for Celiac son. Everytime they take the time to understand the request, use fresh pans and utensils, and confirm the allergy. That and their GF Pipette noodles are great!
Staff was very knowledgeable, asked if my GF choice was due to preference, allergy or Celiac. They gave me all the GF noodle options available and took measures to ensure my safety. As someone who has celiac, as well as an IgE Wheat Allergy, this is very much appreciated.
They have gluten free mac and cheese and they can make many pastas gluten free!
