I was really excited to try this place after seeing or positive reviews about how conscientious they are when it comes to gluten in food. I immediately let the staff know I was gluten free and was told that’s no problem, they could help me make sure I wasn’t ordering anything with gluten or could modify something if it did have gluten. We got 4 rolls of sushi and the server said those rolls were gluten free but she would also make sure the kitchen knew they needed to e just in case. The first came out battered and fried (which the menu did not mention for this roll but detailed others that were battered and fried) and the second had eel sauce all over it which should not have been included. The server assured me they were gluten free. We asked for the manager and he confirmed those two rolls were NOT gluten free. He said the remaining two rolls were. So my husband ate the two with gluten, and I ate the two I was told were gluten free. I was almost done with one of the rolls when I noticed a piece of the sushi was very crunchy suddenly. I looked at the rest of the roll and there were chunks of tempura in it, which should not have been in that roll. The manager was very nice and comped the sushi and the server was very apologetic, but this morning I woke up with all my gluten symptoms and had to stay home from work. I’m very disappointed. It sounds like others have had good experiences here, and I hate to leave a bad review but I also don’t want others to get sick from eating here after seeing good reviews. Proceed with caution!

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. I haven’t felt safe eating in restaurants for a while. Our server Madison was knowledgeable of menu items and accommodating to changes. She went above and beyond by providing items that were gluten free without asking. She was so kind and understanding. I appreciated the service and look forward to returning!!

I ordered on door dash but called the restaurant ahead. They had me write gluten free in the comments. I had sushi and hibachi and feel amazing. The restaurant even put a note in the bag stating that the requested dressing was not gluten free and the included sauces weren't either gf. The manager mentioned that the hibachi would be cooked on a separate surface.
I ordered a second time on door dash and the manager called me because the order entered would not be gluten free (soba noodles) and he called to ask if double rice would work. They take gluten free seriously here for all orders.

I went for the sushi and got a delicious tuna poke bowl. The waiter gave me a personal container of gluten free soy sauce to use. It was a great experience overall!
