Review of Not Your Average Joe's

2nd visit was extremely disappointing starting with hostess. She forgot to tell our waitress about us ( my 7 year old) being gluten free. The waitress was nice & started out helpful. We ordered a garden salad with steak over the top (from the gluten free menu & a big discussion about dressing). The order came out of the kitchen completely wrong & covered in croutons. Disappointed she didn't notice before it left the kitchen. We sent it back & my husband jumped up to remind her not to just transfer the steak to another salad. That is exactly what the waitress & manager were doing...with their fingers. He opened the door to the kitchen & said no way am I accepting that salad. Make a new one. Ok they sent out the new salad with the steak raw. Barely grayed on the outside. I didn't even want to send it back...felt like I couldn't trust them. My husband & I were pretty angry at this point. Even asked the manager if that was how he would serve his 7year old a steak. We paid our bill & while leaving my husband expressed our disappointment again. The manager apologized and gave us a $50 card to come back. it's a nice gesture but how about retraining yourself & the staff. No this was not during a busy time it was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday.
