Went to Nutbelly based on the positive reviews. Asked our waitress if the GF pizza was prepared separately, cooked in a different oven, etc. She definitively said no—they don’t segregate the GF pizzas and toppings from the regular pizzas and toppings and they are all cooked in the same oven. I have celiac and couldn’t take that risk, so we didn’t stick around to eat here.

Delicious gluten free pizza. I have Celiac and go to Nutbelly Deli whenever I am in Carpinteria and have never had a problem. Highly recommend!

Very helpful staff. Enjoyed ham and pineapple pizza and didn’t get sick. Even enjoyed leftover pizza at the beach the next day- doesn’t get better than that!

Some of the best GF crust I’ve ever had! They also have Diaya dairy free cheese!

Unfortunately they ran out of gluten free crust and they don't have many other options. They were able to make me a chicken salad. It was ok but I went there for pizza. I'd suggest calling ahead and making sure they have it.

Based on the previous review, I decided to try this restaurant while traveling through Carpenteria. FABULOUS! Waitress Kate was knowledgable about g-free, and the g-free pizza was excellent. Their BBQ sauce (an ingredient in one of the pizzas) is also g-free. I would eat here frequently if I lived in Carpenteria.

I have only had their gluten free pizza. It is made fresh and excellent. The size is large for a gluten free style.
