Food is amazing, lots of GF options however I would stay away from pizza if you’re celiac. We’ve eaten here three times (husband has celiac). First time he got pasta and was fine. Second time, he got pizza and was fine. Then this last time he got pizza again and had a really bad celiac episode in the morning. Pasta options should be safe, but pizza probably not safe for celiacs.
This is my favorite restaurant (Pre-diagnosis) & this is my 1st time back after diagnosis I had the gluten free shrimp parm. It was delicious!!! I miss the amazing bread, but there are many options—There’s GF pasta & pizza. Waitress said most dishes could be custom made GF.
Gluten free pasta is an option for an additional charge; there is a sign at the take out counter referencing Russo’s GF Pizza and GF Cauliflower crusts. After telling our waiter that I was GF, he confirmed that they could take most of the entrees and prepare it to be gluten free upon request. No mention of GF selections or options on the menu other than the pasta. Cross contamination may be possible.
