Ordered the gluten free pizza. Bartender said it was my safest bet. Menu not marked but says GF crust available for three additional dollars. Pizza was very good. Didn’t not have any reactions.

I had read some reviews saying this restaurant had gluten free options. Their menu is not marked but they do have gluten free pizza crust listed and have a gluten free bun option. I ordered the Citrus Power Bowl because it was a salad with quinoa. I asked the waitor if it was gluten free and said to make sure they mark it for the kitchen. When they brought out the food, they were carrying the bowl with a clean napkin (to prevent from touching the bowl with any gluten I assume). After eating over half of it, I realized the quinoa mix had some grains that looked an awful lot like barley and wheat berries in it, which are not gluten free. I asked the waitor if he could confirm what was in the quinoa mix and he came back from the kitchen saying it was different types of quinoa and rice. I compared the grains to pictures online and it definitely had cooked barley and wheat berries. While the staff appeared to have been trained on cross contamination, the staff was not knowledgeable about gluten or the ingredients in their food. I ended up getting extremely sick later, which confirmed I ate a large amount of gluten.
