Estero location. Very very few options here. Frier is shared (one chef didn't understand that wasn't ok but one did). Was too nervous to get a pizza so I got a salad but there are only 4 and only 2 gf ones.
The waitress was super nice but overall this was a big sad face from me.
Sorry to say the store on Corkscrew in Estero has been open a year but we just discovered it. We decided on a quick gluten free lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The Rubin sandwich was on a GF roll and excellent. A 5 rating is not high enough. The menu is not marked GF, but everything on the menu can be made GF. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially the bartender Mason. He is an excellent representative for the company.
This restaurant has a dedicated celiac safe prep and pizza oven. They also will clean a pan to make a celiac safe burger. The chef Travis said his goal was to ensure people with celiac would be safe when they opened this location. We’ve been here at least 10 times and never had a single issue!! Totally worth it!!
Manager told me that they do not have a separate oven for GF crust, however they use it's own pizza pan and designated GF utensils to handle the GF pizza. They seemed very genuine and true to their policy. They also have. A beer wall with 3-4 ciders and one seltzer at my time of visit.
When I inquired about GF options, the waiter asked if I had celiac and I confirmed that was true. The manager came over next and ensured me that the kitchen is set up for celiac, all food including the pizza is prepared separately without CC and that the fries are made in a GF frier. I had the burger on a GF bun and enjoyed the fries without getting sick. Nice outdoor area as well as a fun bar (mostly whisky drinks- fun bartenders, and hubs loved the smoked whisky old fashioned).
