GF bread. There aren’t a ton of good GF options in the area so the Oakhurst has become a staple. I’ve never felt sick afterwards.

So happy to have this little diner as an option when we’re in the Millerton area. They have GF bread for all their sandwiches and they have a separate deep fryer for fries and tater tots that doesn’t use any gluten. What a treat!

They offer gluten free bread and are somewhat knowledgeable about gf options. However, even if I request my food be prepared separately in the kitchen, I always get mildly sick afterwards. It’s not full blown sickness, but I always experience cross-contamination sickness here. And the food is very mediocre. The fryer is shared and not gf.

They have GF bread but it’s 75¢ extra. Good bread and portion size. The kimchi is also GF and was fantastic. Just beware because the sides for sandwiches are all extra, even though it’s not explicitly stated on the menu.
