The ONLY reason we gave two stars is because the server was very knowledgeable, patient and kind and the drinks were decent. Other than that the experience was not a pleasant one. It was simply too dark! Fellow diners were using their cell phones as flash lights to navigate their tables. It took far longer than it should have for our food to be served. The ceviche tasted like it was made with canned shrimp. You know, that canned food saltiness? It was served with cold semi stale yuca chips that were so greasy that they were shiny. For fifteen dollars we expected actual chips, not rolled up overcooked straw like crisps. My husband had a Denny's quality prime rib and I was served over cooked gritty shrimp. His plate was accompanied by coconut rice that was crunchy.....it should not have been crunchy. My dish included a cherry tomato salsa that was really more like a poor attempt at a garnish. I feel like I could have gotten better quality food at Red Lobster!
