The menu had certain items expressly listed as gluten free so I ordered the fish tacos. They came out fried. When I spoke to the server, he apologized and said they’d make them grilled. 15 minutes later another server came by and said that the fish tacos are no longer offered grilled and if I have a gluten allergy there is not much they can offer. One of the other items listed as gluten free—the nachos—they couldn’t confirm that the chips were gluten free because they weren’t made on premises. Only options are salad and either grilled chicken or hamburger. Very disappointed since this is one of the main restaurants at the hotel for lunch and dinner. I do not feel safe eating at the hotel generally and the servers do not seem reliable or to understand the issue—another server at the bar restaurant told me I could eat the quesadilla. Ummm…nope.

High safety rating because the manager was very knowledgeable. Our server was confused but the manager spoke with her and she was very attentive, and I did not get sick! Very few options for gluten free, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Options were salads (with olive oil & vinegar dressing cause the usuals weren’t safe), catch-of-the-day grilled, or ribeye steak. I got the steak and it was like a TGI Fridays steak. Fulfilled its intended purpose but nothing to write home about. I couldn’t have the included yuca fries because of cross contamination in the fryer, so they gave me extra salad. It’s a lovely view and the drinks are good. I’m sure there are way more options if you can handle a shared fryer
