Staff were wrong, I got very sick: Based on reviews here and calling ahead to talk to the staff, we felt assured there were safe lunch options. When I inquired whether the falafel sandwich could be made gluten free, they said yes and told me they could serve it on a gluten free pita. I asked if the falafel itself is gluten free and they answered with confidence that it is. When my meal came out it looked too good to be gluten free, so I double checked with the waitress who double checked with the kitchen and assured me that it was indeed gluten free. I ate it all; it was delicious. 2-3 hours later I was extremely ill for hours and I’m still recovering. As a side note, my daughter has a walnut allergy and they don’t label all of the items on their menu that have nuts. The cauliflower crust pizza is topped with pesto made from walnuts. If you are a celiac or have a real food allergy, don’t go here! They don’t seem to really understand these medical conditions and how severe the consequences are.

there wasn't anything gluten free listed on the menu, but the owner said she had a gluten free roll or wrap that she could use for any of the sandwiches on offer. she also offered to make a cauliflower veggie pizza, which I happily accepted. the pizza was delicious, the house-made cucumber citrus soda was amazing, and the outdoor seating area was beautiful. highly recommend!
