Dec 27, 2023. Absolutely amazing. Dinner was fantastic. The GF menu was extensive. Food was prepared without any chance of cross-contamination. Even the specials could be made GF. ALL GF items are clearly marked. I ate a wonderful meal of Chilean sea bass and quinoa, a Mediterranean salad, and crab cakes. We also had lobster mashed potatoes. I did not get sick! Highly recommended! I posted some photos too.

Owner’s daughter has celiac. Have eaten there a number of times-they get it, no reaction ever!

I was visiting a friend and we had a craving for oysters. It was here or a raw bar in the city. So glad we chose Off The Hook. Our server was celiac and was very knowledgeable about which items were gf and what could be made gf. The only error was in bringing out the dessert (creme brulee). They had added the cookie on top by mistake. The server actually noticed it before I did and brought out a freshly made dessert that was definitely not the same one. The owner also stopped by the table to explain the wooden picks markers they use on their dishes. Service was impeccable. Always ready but not intrusive, everything cleared and the next course brought out quickly but we never felt rushed. It was pricey, but worth every penny. Off The Hook wasn't just good for gf food. It was a phenomenal night out.

The waiter saw my gluten free menu when he approached my table and immediately told me they take allergies very seriously. He said all my food will have a wood pick marked “allergy” so that the kitchen and I know it is safe. He offered me gluten free bread because the table got a bread basket, which i declined so i can’t speak to how good it was. But it’s good to know it’s an option. I ordered stuffed shrimp and lobster whipped potatoes. Everything was incredibly amazing and delicious. They brought the dessert menu out and said i got a free one because it was our anniversary. He pointed right to the gluten free items. Very classy place. Very expensive. But if you are celebrating something special, it’s well worth it.

This place was amazing. They explained which items were gluten and dairy free for me and clearly told me which items I could not eat if my companions ordered them. The food was wonderful and they even brought me gluten free rolls. I wish this place was in my town. I highly recommend.
