We love this place and have eaten at two of their locations with no issues. We are not celiac but are pretty sensitive I don’t think it is celiac safe.
The pizza and pasta are the best we’ve had. They also have vegan cheese. The service is always excellent - friendly, fun and attentive. You can also get their pizza dough to go and make it yourself at home or order a focaccia and ask it not to be cut and turn that into pizza at home if you don’t rang to mess with the dough. Highly recommend.

Tons of gluten free options and I had 0 reaction after eating the pizza.

I was disappointed that though they have an extensive gluten free menu, most of it is heavily cross contaminated (pasta and pizza) however the risotto was delicious, as well as the panna cotta. I always get a bit peeved when restaurants advertise gf but aren’t celiac safe but the food that was safe was certainly good. But be prepared that your options are limited.

Awesome pizza with an authentic Italian style. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Light and fluffy with crispy outsides. They also have GF desserts!

Edit: went here on a weekend and the server informed me they cook the pasta in the same water as gluten noodles. Super disappointed. I left my family and went across the street to eat. My husband called and said they would change the water for me but I was mad and stayed at my new spot. So maybe on weeknights they will be sensitive to your allergy- but busy weekends are toss up.
Server was knowledgeable about Celiacs. Advised me NOT to get the pizza because flour is all over and will cross contaminate. There is not a separate oven. Excellent Gf. Gnocchi and salads.

Pizza was excellent. The crust was easily the best gluten free crust I've ever had. I did not get sick, but there is a risk for cross contamination.

Best gluten free pizza crust I’ve had outside of Italy. They also have gluten free gnocchi and pasta. The food is delicious and the service was great. We are here twice on a recent trip without issues and I’m highly sensitive.

Pizza was not celiac safe, pasta they said was made separately but there is flour all over the kitchen so there is a chance for cross contamination. That being said I had the pasta and did not get sick. Just need to be careful at this restaurant if you have celiacs!

Apparently they no longer offer a dedicated gluten free oven and they said they do not do well with cross contamination of their pasta :(

The waiter checked with the chef and said the gluten free pizza is NOT celiac safe or safe for anyone with a gluten allergy due to shared oven and shared prep space with gluten flour.

This is the best gluten free pizza in the world!!! Me and my family go here all the time, and the crust is actually puffy, not thin like normally.

I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza. They were very generous with the toppings and the crust was homemade. Best pizza I ever had and I didn’t get sick.

Separate oven named Sergio for gluten free pizza (South Park location does not have). Our 16 mo old daughter has sever celiac and did not get sick off pizza or artichokes appetizer. Updated- on certain nights apparently Sergio oven also cooks regular pizza, so be sure to ask in advance. They also do gluten free pasta in separate pot/water. We have been 2x and she hasn’t gotten sick either time.

Best gluten free pizza I’ve had! Will come back!

I saw mixed reviews on this place, but really wanted to try it while vacation. I called to ask about the ingredients of the crust and how they avoid cross contamination. I felt comfortable enough to try it, but still reticent. The waiter was very kind and when my pizza came out showed me how I could tell the gf pizza from the conventional. Two days later, and a round of leftovers, I have not gotten sick.
The gluten free pizza tastes amazing and it is the best pizza ever but every time i have eaten here I have gotten really sick. So something isn’t gluten free, even though they say it is. I also got sick eating the lemon piccata - they swore it was gluten free but it must not have been. Amazing place but not if you are gluten free.

They use WHEAT flour in their gluten-free pizza. I understand that it has the gluten removed, but my son has a wheat allergy and when something says gluten-free, we assumed that it was wheat free as well. That was a mistake.

Gluten free HOMEMADE pizza, not a frozen Udi's crust! Dedicated oven. Husband could not tell the difference between regular and gf crust. Amazing staff that treats you like family! Great atmosphere and desserts are a must! Not flourless chocolate cake, but an Italian chocolate dessert that is melt in your mouth delicious! Espresso to end a wonderful gluten free lunch.

The GF oven isn't 100% dedicated, it's split in half. However, I am incredibly sensitive and was just fine! And the pizza is delicious. My server was very knowledgeable about the pizza and other GF menu options. Also a great atmosphere!! I highly recommend.

Oops!! Please run from Buona Forchetta in Liberty Station if you are gluten sensitive. The manager was SO confident they could prepare the roasted chicken special GF. The plate I was served took 1 hour to prepare, had gummy flour all over the meat, and I was assured that the chef specially prepared this using house-blended special gluten free rice flour. It had the taste and consistency of wheat, not like rice at all. Two bites and my nose closes from inflammation and painful banging in my stomach. Don't even try to order GF here. I even spoke to the manager in his native language, Italian, in detail about how they would prepare this supposedly GF dish. They were nice about it and didn't charge me, but the place is completely unsafe. Worst part is their assurance that the meal will be GF, without the capacity to deliver or figure out what went wrong. Advice: just have a glass of wine here and get the safe roasted chicken at the takeout place in Liberty Market, nextdoor.

They have the potential to do well with a dedicated GF wood fired oven, but they didn’t bother to even turn it on for a Saturday. Very dismissive of the concerns I brought up. Probably better to try out somewhere else.
