Oh Boy Chicken

'Oh Boy'? More like 'Oh No' This place was overpriced and not good.

We were SO excited to have GF fried chicken and even ordered double what we needed so we could have leftovers. It didn't taste good at all and the entire family felt ill the rest of the night. I tossed the leftovers.

The waitress did not seem knowledgeable and brought me a salad sprinkled with Parmesean after I specifically discussed that I was avoiding dairy in addition to gluten. The salad (southwest) wasn't edible (even my husband wouldn't eat it).

I am now able to change my review since I actually was able to eat there.

Delicious!!! The chicken was fantastic! The Belgian waffle was fluffy and light, and yummy! The mashed potatoes with duck gravy - divine! Service was good, wait time was much longer than my kids were happy with...but they both agreed that the food was worth the wait.

WOW! Gluten free fried chicken!! It's amazing. Reminded me of the days when I could eat Strouds, only I do believe Oh Boy is better! Chicken was crispy, juicy and very tasty. Mashed Potatoes AND gravy were wonderful! They also have an awesome gluten free lobster mac and cheese!!!! HEAVEN for anyone with celiac or gluten intolerance.

PS there is no menu for Oh Boy online. Oh Boy Chicken is served at Ted's Taphouse, there is a menu for Ted's online and you can find the chicken on that menu.

Gluten free fried chicken, mashed potatoes w/ gravy and jalapeño cornbread all GF and delicious. Several other menu items available. Menu clearly indicates GF

The gluten free menu was small. Very small and they had none of the gluten free sides available. The chicken was okay but not really worth paying for more than once. I've made better at home and I'm a terrible cook.

Plus: The server was very knowledgeable about what gluten is and where it is found which is incredibly rare.

Minus: The atmosphere was very uncomfortable, the music much too loud for a small place and the sides are made in bulk so if they are out of prepared servings, you are out of luck.

Funny little chicken spot that is part of a Pho shop. Chicken fried with rice flour. Made to order and was super crisp and flavorful with a short wait. Not a lot of other GF options other than the chicken.
