The gluten free fish and chips were fabulous and quite a large portion, the coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce were amazing. I felt really safe eating here the staff was really knowledgable and most of the menu was gluten free with a few exceptions. They have a dedicated fryer for gluten free, the beer batter is soda water and rice flour.

This is a wonderful well run restaurant with amazing gluten free fish and chips. It is not a 100 per cent gluten free restaurant but I feel very safe eating here. The owner is in the kitchen.

So good that we came back for a second time during our trip! Staff are extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and and were even able to make adjustments to the clam chowder to make it dairy free ( for all those who are lactose intolerant) ! Absolutely delicious!!!

What a wonderful place to eat! With the exception of the mac and cheese, everything on the menu can be done gluten free. They have a dedicated GF fryer, and make the “beer batter” with club soda. Food was fresh and delicious! Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Excellent experience. Upon arrival, we told the staff (manager?) that we had our Celiac kiddo with us, and he confidently said "easy peasy!" and then proceeded to show her everything she could have on the menu and assured her all the precautions they take.

She thoroughly enjoyed the kids' fish & chips which were so nicely battered. Delicious meals for everyone in our group. Very clean, great service, quaint location, beautiful patio.

Oh My Cod!!!! Absolutely amazing food. Fresh seafood and great flavour. We were here on 2 separate occasions on our trip recently and we will be back if we are ever in the area again. Hubby who is celiac had seafood chowder and lobster roll on GF bun. No reaction. Menu not marked but wait staff can tell you what is not GF. Most of menu can be made safe.

I had Excellent gluten-free battered cod, because as our server said, Oh My Haddock just doesn't sound right. While gluten free is not mentioned on the menu, the server was extremely well informed and said it would be easier to identify the items that could not be made gluten-free. We'll be back soon!

I loved this place! The server was very knowledgable about celiac and assured me they took precautions in the kitchen, including having a separate space and dedicated fryer.

Contrary to what the website led us to expect, this restaurant has lots of gluten free options, including buns and fried fish. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer, and conversation with the owner made clear that they understand celiac.

Oh, and the food was delicious!

I am a celiac. Tremendous GF fried cod and GF fries. Extremely light batter. Best I have ever had.

Also terrific HF hamburger bun. No upcharge for GF.
