DON’T EAT HERE!!!

Explained very clearly my need for gluten free due to celiac. I wasn’t offered options that were realistic and ended up with a meal I shouldn’t have tried.

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?

— Not at all

— No gluten-free information on the menu

How much of the menu is available gluten-free?

— Not Much/None

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

Do NOT come to this location if you have serious allergies...tonight was disastrous.

I have been coming here since this place opened, tonight was a very different experience than I am used to. If you have any form of allergies be extremely cautious and aware of your food. I have eaten here a number of times with no issues. Tonight, there was cross contamination to the point I had the waitress and the "manager" arguing with me that my food was gluten free. My face that broke out in hives says otherwise. It took the other party sitting out our table to be on our side that yes, the chef made my food with GF sauce, but when he put my food right in the middle of where he just cooked a load of teriyaki sauce he may have well just used the teriyaki sauce on my food.

I am appalled with the manager and waitress response. No sorry, just excuses of well, I told him to use GF, or he used the GF. I'm sorry, but the amount of hives I have on my face say otherwise right now. Then to have a we will see you back soon as I'm going out the door. Yeah, that is a solid no go.

I love Ohjah, but I'll be going to a different location from now on. One that takes allergy requests seriously. And the only reason is due to a gentleman that appeared to be an owner of Ohjah who followed us out after the fact. He was apologetic, and I'm grateful. But this restaurant is a mess and needs some serious attention.
