The staff I talked to vaguely understood what gluten was (I’m guessing other Celiacs had been in before). That said, even after having explicitly said that I couldn’t have the baguette even on the plate with my eggs twice, my eggs came out with two slices of bread touching them. Once remedied, I can say the eggs were good. It took a lot of explaining, though, that gluten (like the harina in the baguette) will make me violently ill even if it just touches the other food on my plate. Proceed with caution, especially if your Spanish is not strong.
