I think this is great business, but as a Celiac the fact that gluten crackers are being used on charcuterie produced on the premises, it doesn’t feel truly dedicated gluten free. Given the health impacts to Celiacs and the hard work many do to stay healthy, I think that this business is not truly dedicated gluten free at this time, and Celiacs should be aware of this fact. Preparing the Charcuterie boards with wheat crackers in the building is a fact those with celiac should be aware of and decide if they want to accept the risk. A true gluten free restaurant does not allow gluten on the premises. They don’t even allow sandwiches with gluten to be consumed by their employees on the premises. However, many may not find this to be an issue. However, the Celiac community deserves full disclosure of possible contamination so they can make the choice themselves. I would be very happy to hear in the future that the policy has changed and wheat and gluten products are no longer beneficial no packages on the premises. Then this could be a true shining star for the gluten free community on the South Coast.

Hi Sara, Thank you for taking the time to write your review! There are no wheat products brought into our kitchen including non-gluten free crackers.
Michele and Steve are the nicest people I’ve met in Oregon! They were so helpful and happy. I have celiac and am thrilled with the treats that I got. My husband sampled a bunch of hot sauces. I will be ordering online in the future as l live in Utah.

The owner is gluten intolerant, and every item in the shop is gluten free! The food was delicious, but the whole experience was made wonderful by Michele and Steve, the owners. They were so sweet and helpful, and Michele's brownies are AMAZING 😍 they allow samples of any product at the counter, and made our whole experience feel like we were visiting friends.

Old Agness Store
Not sure how this wasn’t on this app already, but what an AWESOME little store!!! Completely gluten-free kitchen that specializes in GF brownies and bars but also has different soups/chilis daily! Super cute shop with great selection of sauces and spices as well. I had the Kitchen Sink soup that was available today with cornbread and a coconut brownie and it was incredible! The owners are super kind and welcoming, too! It is so difficult to find gluten free options in many places, but to find a completely gluten-free kitchen in a very small rural area is amazing! Definitely stop by if you’re on the Oregon coast!
