This place has lots and lots of options for gluten free but the burger I had was very bad. It was very tasteless. I did not get sick however. If I will be back here I will not order the burger. I WAS INFORMED THERE IS NO DEDICATED FRYER ONCE I ASKED. I then asked to pan fry my fries instead of putting them into the communal.

I had a FANTASTIC experience here. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and everything is cooked separately. They also made sure to double check with the cook that it 100% was safe for me to eat which was an extra step that was extremely kind. :)

Right after I walked in the door, I was greeted by very friendly staff members who were knowledgeable about Celiac and cross contamination. I was told that about 90% of the menu can be prepared as a gluten free option. I asked a lot of questions about food preparation, I also got a brief chance to speak with the owner who told me that she also has Celiac and I was assured that everything would be alright. The menu has a surprisingly large selection of gluten free options. I placed a take-out order of gluten free pancakes and gluten free chicken tenders with gf fries. The pancakes were absolutely delicious, I felt like I was dreaming... they were identical in taste to regular pancakes. Later in the day, I heated up the chicken tenders. Again, I was amazed.. I woke up with absolutely no signs of gluten sickness. My overall experience was an A+... I will definitely recommend this Diner and I will be returning often.

Repeating the other reviews, I was also told that the owner has celiac. The food is really good. The cream of turkey soup is like manna from heaven. Seriously. I want to eat it all day every day.
They didn’t have gf buns for my burger so they put it on gf toast. Not for nothing it might have made it even better. We’ll be back if we’re even close to being in the neighborhood.
Also, I didn’t have a chocolate milkshake but it looked amazing

Just know if you order gluten free pancakes or a waffle that they DO NOT HAVE GLUTEN FREE SYRUP. My pancakes were very dry and had no flavor. The omelettes are small. I asked for gluten free bread with the omelette and the waitress told me they didn’t have gluten free bread that they had whole wheat. Another family member ordered a gluten free wrap and it looked like it was pressed because it had grill marks. Take precaution if your order the wrap and ask about cross contamination for this item.

I’ve been coming here with my mom for about a year now every time I’m in town. This place knows how to do gluten free! The owner has celiacs and understands the risks and rewards of finding a good gf spot. Today I made my own dish and they were super accommodating! I went for chicken and waffles (ordered a gf waffle & Gf chicken fingers). The chicken is freshly prepared to order so it was AMAZING! They made their own breading and you can tell. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

I feel truly blessed to have found this amazing restaurant. They have an extensive gluten free menu and everything is clearly marked. There was no way I could pass up ordering the GF chicken parm! It was crispy, juicy, tasty and satisfied a craving I have had since finding out I could not eat gluten. The cheese was gooey and the sauce was flavorful and thick. I was also able to order a GF soup - creamed turkey! There was so much food I took home leftovers and two containers of GF rice pudding. The only negative is the restaurant is 37 minutes from my home. That said, it is more than worth the trip. I can’t wait to try the GF pancakes and French toast. What is nice is that as a diner there is something for everyone so this is now going to be my go to place to meet up with friends, etc. I also want to add that the waitress and hostess were so sweet and friendly and made us feel so welcome. Great food and service - this place is a winner!!!

First time eating here today. Many options on the menu and the server we had understood our needs and asked if fries needed to be fried separately. Advised it would take longer and we were ok with that. They were out of gf buns but offered the burgers on gf toast - which worked out fine for us. My son has been there several times and has had no bad reactions to the food. One of his favorite places.

This place is amazing. I have Celiac and when I say they have a ton of options, they have a ton. Some times it’s over bearing and makes it hard to decide. How many places can you say this about? I have not once been sick eating here and I have had wraps, burgers, triple decker sandwiches, etc. The owner is very knowledgeable and the staff as well. If you like diners this is the place to visit.

Amazing! Plenty of good old-fashioned diner food, but gluten-free! I got the Farmer’s Boy breakfast combo which came with pork roll, sausage, bacon, eggs, and (GF) french toast. Also got a side order of home fries and I tried my girlfriend’s GF Belgian waffle. Great service and no symptoms after.

The first time I ate there I had GF Belgium waffles. They were so good I couldn’t believe they were GF. I was very excited to go back. The next week I did go back and tried one of their GF breakfast wraps. It was not GF. I asked the waitress if it was and she quickly removed my plate because they didn’t look GF to her either. I spit out my third bite. She came back and said the cook said yes they are GF. I didn’t eat anything prior except for a banana coffee and water. Two hours after my meal the nausea came followed by an hours worth of vomiting, cramps headache and nausea. My husband called the diner and they explained they are very careful not to cross contaminate the owner has celiac disease and that she would call us back. Two days later she never called. Eat at your own risk!

Pay attention to your order! We called ahead to inquire about the fries and how they prepare their food. They said they drain the oil and put in new oil for fries. Great! We told them we were 30 away and they started the process. When we arrived we had got fries for my celiac daughter. We spoke to the waitress and stressed the need for her food to be prepared safely and she seemed to totally understand. My daughter ordered a gf burger. Her food arrived with our non-gf food and the server pointed out which was her gf burger. Luckily my other daughter noticed that her bun looked identical to her sisters "gf" bun. We brought it to the servers attention and she seemed confused and unsure. They brought it back to the cook and came out, rather quickly, with another burger on a gf bun. ( regular bun was big and had sesame seeds. Gf bun was smaller than the burger. Very different). The server apologized but the patty looked the same and had pieces of other food on the plate. We spoke to owner's son and asked for another burger. The server are that point wasn't coming back to our table. A little while later, a fresh burger, which was warm and steamy, was brought out by the manager but no other communication by him. Only after a while did another server come over to check on us and listen to our concerns. The place wasn't busy and the owner wasn't there. We were never rude to anyone, we only wanted a safe meal for our daughter but customer service was definitely lacking. We ended up calling later to speak to the owner and she was very apologetic. My daughter refuses to go back because she doesn't trust it. Mistakes happen but it could have been handled better. We are very disappointed.

This is the best restaurant I've found near me with gluten free options. They have a separate fryer for gf. They stock gluten free breads and wraps, so you can have almost any sandwich or wrap made gf. They also have GF breakfast! I have never been to a restaurant with gf waffles and french toast. The wait staff also told me they had GF cookies and brownies that aren't on the menu, so make sure you ask about dessert. The wait staff was knowledgeable about celiac. I ordered a sandwich with GF bread and the server asked me specifically if I would like the GF fries from the designated fryer. The GF fries are steak fries, which is a genius idea, because you can easily tell them apart from the regular fries. I had zero stomach issues after eating here. It is SO nice to walk into a diner and be able to order "regular" things.

Had a terrible experience here. I walked in and ordered and started off saying “I have celiac disease..” and the waitress rolled her eyes!! Like openly rolled her damn eyes like “here we go again.” Then she looked like she was ready to argue with me when I simply asked her if an omelette and home fries is gluten free and prepared safely without cross contamination. She had to ask a manager, who was ten times nicer than the miserable waitress we had. Then, she brought out our food and she had the plate of toast my boyfriend ordered on top of my food and then put it in front of me. Which, after the whole eye rolling stick she pulled, felt completely on purpose. I ate around the spot the plate was on but I already feel sick from it. I just didn’t want to deal with her stuff any longer. I just don’t understand how this place advertises gluten free and is rated well on here but then the staff acts like that. It completely made me scared and ruined the whole experience. As a celiac, it is already nerve wracking eating out at places with the fear that you might be violently ill for this week. If you do go here, ask for a manager or someone more knowledgable to take your order. No reason for the unnecessary rudeness right off the bat. Be careful eating here!

Went here due to how great the reviews sounded!! They weren’t lying! Even though some individual staff were unaware of what was considered gluten free, the owner was phenomenal. I will 100% be going back here!!

Gotta say, disappointed quite a bit, especially after reading the reviews. Food was delicious! But I asked if the food was prepared separately. Waitress didn’t know and asked the owner. Totally fine, I get it. Waitress says that the owner said it’s prepared separately. Asked if the fries were fried separately afterwards. “I just checked and the owner said food prepared separately”. I wanted to double check because that doesn’t mean cooked separately. I dropped it and just had the sandwich. Came with pickle and coleslaw which I didn’t know if it was gf and didn’t want to ask and get the same response. Sandwich was obviously cut with a dirty knife: there was bits of cheese on my plate and orange sauce when my sandwich had none of those things. Very disappointed and I’ll try and give it another chance when it’s less busy.

I went here based on the other reviews, honestly. Never heard of this diner although it was only 15 minutes away. Our waitress, although not knowledgeable herself, checked with the owner, who has Celiac, about every question I had. I had the open roast beef on GF bread, with mashed potatoes, cauliflower and gravy. Oh the gravy! It was delish. Finished with crustless, deliciously creamy cheesecake. I spoke to the owner when leaving and she was so nice and helpful. We will definitely go back! It’s nice to be able to add another safe restaurant in the mix. We all m ow how difficult that is!
