Great gluten free Irish stew! Tasted amazing, just like my grans! We found service was pretty quick and that it wasn’t a sit down and relax place, but the vibe and food made up for it! People were queuing out of the door, so book before hand!
A whole lot of amazing choices. I haven’t felt overwhelmed by a menu (in a good way) since before I was celiac. I got a traditional Irish stew with fries/chips, and it was amazing. The GF bread was great too. Would recommend if you’re looking for a good meal at a reasonable price in the Temple Bar area.
They have a flour free menu, staff will answer questions but didn’t fill me with confidence! The food was lovely! Big portions!
A busy popular restaurant with a great vibe. There’s a flourless menus which is ideal for Coeliacs.
Excellent food, quite a few gluten free options. Marked as ‘flour free’ menu 😁 Felt very reassured that my food was gf, they also checked I was drinking the cider and not the Guinness we’d ordered! Would recommend.
I really enjoyed this place. They do not have gluten free rolls, so you have to be okay with having a burger or sandwich on bread, which I am.
I got the Cajun chicken sandwich which was delicious and I enjoyed the chips as well. I am unsure if there is a separate fryer as CC doesn’t bother me.
It is incredibly cramped though and will probably be crowded when you go. Not the pest place for socially anxious people, as you’ll be nearly sitting on top of your neighbors!
I had the Irish stew off the flourless menu which was very tasty, and a GF peroni. We queued for 20 mins to get in, while I was waiting the serving staff answered all the questions I had about food preparation and cross contamination. The venue is very small and cramped and we felt a bit rushed out at the end. Good for a quick safe meal but not somewhere to have a relaxing meal as very popular and busy.
I found the staff to be the best part - they were super nice to me - I followed the other reviews had the stew off the flourless menu - no reaction - I didn’t have the toast.. it looked like GF bread but I wasn’t sure how it was toasted & I’m a nervous wreck… esp abroad. Pub was nice too - enjoyed our time there!!
Had a pretty good experience here. They have a separate “flour free” menu but won’t guarantee no cross contamination. Honestly, I’m not sure I trust that it’s gf. The toast that came with my stew look suspiciously like regular bread. I didn’t have eat it. The stew was good though and didn’t make me sick, so was probably ok. The gf beer is also gluten removed, not fully gf.
Had the chicken wings and they were great! Serving size was big. Staff was very concerned and knowledgeable about keeping our meal gluten free. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Great service and great food! Had the Irish stew and it was perfect for a rainy day in Dublin
Went out of my way to come here and there was confusion about my order and they said no gf safe fryer.
I got the Irish stew and it was very good. When I asked if the chips are fried in a separate fryer, the waitress wasn’t sure and double checked and they are, so technically neither those or the deep fried wings are gluten free which is a disappointment as the flour free menu already isn’t that extensive. happy that the soup came with gluten free bread though.
This is the sister restaurant of Quays, exact same menu. I recommend this place over Quays, the handle allergens better. I had steayand fries which were amazing. I didn't get sick or have any lingering symptoms (I'm extremely sensitive to gluten). They have a dedicated fryer.
My family and I were very impressed with this quaint restaurant in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. They had a flour free menu with a variety of options to choose from. The food was great. The presentation was great, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.
This is a great little pub with a nice welcoming atmosphere. It has a dedicated flour free menu and gluten free options. I ordered the traditional Irish stew and a Bulmers Cider. The stew was great and the portion sizes were pretty big. We didn’t book so had to wait around 15mins for a table but that was fine, it was well worth the wait, and we also visited during a very busy time of year, around St Patrick’s Day.
Amazing! Such tasty food on the flour free menu! And the portions were HUGE! I went for the Irish stew and I could not have been happier. Super tasty, filling, generous. Probably the nicest GF food I've ever eaten!
The staff were really friendly too!
Not a massive venue though so it might be best to book 🖤
This restaurant is upstairs, across and just down the block from Temple Bar. It’s definitely worth looking for. I had the Irish Stew which was so hardy and GF toast. I didn’t think I liked lamb but when in Ireland… It was yummy. Maybe the only GF Irish Stew around. There was lots to choose from. My husband really enjoyed his Cottage Pie. Lots of food and friendly staff. There’s also outdoor seating across the street.
