Highly recommend - very large selection of their menu can be made gluten free. Gluten free macaroni was really nice and they had separate fryers for the chips too!

Really nice place to eat glutenfree and dairy free. They have a dedicated fryer for glutenfree fish and chips and almost all their pasta's can be made glutenfree. They also have a lot of dairy free options. I had the gluten- and dairy free pasta bolognese, very delicious! The staff was very nice and they knew a lot about the glutenfree diet.

lovely staff who are very knowledgeable and confident about their gluten free options. no specific gluten free menu or indication on the regular menu but staff know what options are available.

cod and chips was really tasty however when ordering the dessert (chocolate brownie - labelled as gluten free on the menu - which comes with sauce and ice cream) i asked about if the sauce and ice cream were gf and was told that the ice cream wasn’t gluten free so it would come without it, however when the brownie arrived it had ice cream so it had to be remade. just something to look out for as ice cream isn’t usually a red flag for coeliacs, and if i hadn’t have asked in the first place i would have been ill.

Tried Old Saltys as I liked the look of it and knew it had a gf menu. Went for GF fish and chips with gf gravy on the side. Staff were really helpful as the wife had a pram with her and very knowledgeable about what on the menu had a gf alternative. Best fish and chips ive ever had. Will be back.

While visiting Glasgow, I really wanted to try fish n chips (even though I don’t like fish!). Old Salty’s did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and helpful/confident about their gluten free options. The fish was flaky; the batter was crispy and so yummy; the fries were spot on. I am very sensitive to gluten (Celiac) and had no reaction!
