Eating out with CD is pretty stressful for me. I was invited for lunch at Olde Towne Athletic Club on East Cobb. Last night, I went to check out their menu and of course, there was no mention of GF anywhere. Usually not a good sign, but it did say to email them if there were any dietary restrictions.
I emailed them last night and they replied within a few hours LAST NIGHT. The person told me they would speak to the chef and as you can imagine, I was really skeptical. They asked me my estimated time of arrival and wouldn't you know that the moment I walked into the restaurant, the hostess said: Hi, welcome to Olde Towne, we've been expecting you and the head chef would like to come to the table and personally discuss all the GF options he can prepare for you. I was like: Say What???? I about fell off my chair.
Long story short, this salad was phenomenal with blackened salmon and a champagne dressing prepared by him. There were lots of other options, but I felt like something light.
